Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy describes how the United States release of CoachSplit collects, uses, stores, and deletes information. CoachSplit is operated by the developer identified on its App Store listing. Contact: support@coachsplit.com.

Information We Process

CoachSplit may process account information such as name, email address, role, and authentication identifiers; team and roster information; athlete names, grade, status, optional email address, training availability, and coaching notes; training groups, workouts, workout results, mileage, effort, feeling, and notes; meets and race results; personal activities a runner chooses to log; feedback submitted through the app; and technical records such as IP address, user agent, request metadata, authentication events, crash stack traces, app version and build, device class, operating-system version, random installation and session identifiers, and limited operational state needed for authentication, synchronization, rate limiting, security, crash diagnosis, and troubleshooting. The pilot does not offer new entry of runner phone numbers, guardian information, emergency contacts, medical clearance, or medical notes. Records created in an earlier beta may retain those values until an authorized coach removes them in the app or requests deletion.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to provide team and runner features, synchronize authorized devices, link runner accounts to roster entries, display training and performance summaries, support account recovery and security, respond to feedback, maintain the service, and comply with legal obligations. CoachSplit does not currently use athlete information to train product algorithms.

Sharing

Roster and team information is shared only with users authorized for that team according to their role. Runner-entered personal activities are visible to a coach only when the runner chooses Share with Coach. Service providers may process information to host, authenticate, synchronize, secure, diagnose crashes, or operate CoachSplit. CoachSplit uses Supabase for backend and authentication services, Apple services for app distribution and device functionality, and Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash and operational-error reporting. Google Analytics is not enabled. CoachSplit does not deliberately attach names, emails, account IDs, team IDs, athlete IDs, notes, or health and fitness values to Crashlytics reports. CoachSplit does not sell personal information or use athlete information for targeted advertising.

Children

CoachSplit is not available to children under 13. Coaches must not enter information about children under 13. If CoachSplit learns that prohibited information was entered, it may delete or restrict the information and account. Contact support@coachsplit.com to report a concern.

Retention and Account Deletion

Information is retained only as reasonably needed to provide and secure the service, maintain authorized team records, verify access, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Runner account deletion permanently removes the runner account, linked roster identity, personal activities, and athlete-level training history. Assistant-coach deletion removes that account and its team access while leaving the owner's team records in place. Owner-coach deletion permanently removes the owner's account and the entire owned team, including its roster, workouts, results, meets, records, and member access. The app explains this impact before deletion. CoachSplit will not treat a renamed or coded individual record as anonymous. Any future product-improvement dataset must be separately aggregated or de-identified so it cannot reasonably be linked back to a runner or team.

Security

CoachSplit uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Users should protect access to their email accounts, devices, sign-in links, join codes, and recovery credentials.

Your Choices

Users may review and update available account or athlete information in the app, control whether a personal activity is shared with a coach, sign out, and request or perform account deletion. Coaches may correct or delete roster information they are authorized to manage. Privacy requests may be sent to support@coachsplit.com.

United States Availability

CoachSplit is presently offered only in the United States. The service is not intended for use where these practices or terms do not satisfy local requirements.
